Hey there once again! I have been super busy with creating still art and making films! The last 2 months have been a wonderful time being closer to home. So where did we leave off? Ummmmmm...............
Oh. The Ralph Breaks the Internet preview
.
Ok. so after that day at home, college life became more stressful. No time for fun or games like usual, or ....... yeah, the usual college routine. I created a lot of pieces of art for class since then and have practiced character sketches too. Here are the art pieces I did in class:
I also have been drawing Disney characters a lot:
I also went near home to had a blast at CTN with 2 of my friends, Christian and Rodrigo, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I met all of several animators and directors at the Walt Disney Studios near home and a lot of artists. I even ran into several more people from CSULB.
After that, he thankful week of Thanksgiving just begun. This the first Thanksgiving without my parents, as they live up in the San Francisco Bay Area, which is around 5-7 hours from the L.A. Area, depending on traffic. I spent the week going to Downtown Long Beach, including my very first visit to the Aquarium of the Pacific, as well as making two trips to Cerritos to eat authentic Chinese food!
For the next 3 weeks, life has been spent working on my final projects, as well as having more time to work on a film on my trip to CTN!
Now on to my life with my parents, My parents and I have talked almost every day. We are planning for them to come to Long Beach to pick me up in mid-December for our Christmas vacation to Las Vegas. Following that trip, I will go see their place in the SF Bay Area for a few weeks.
I talked with them a few days ago about summer plans and they are taking us to Hawaii in June. I am excited to be revisiting the islands of Maui and Oahu. Ever since the last time I went to Hawaii, there were many new stores that opened in Waikiki and the Ala Moana Center. Swimming at the beach is also something I am very excited about.
Sure, they ask about why they have to come to L.A. and the OC 2-3 times every year. L.A. and the OC, on the other hand, are both very spread out and both have many things to do, such as visiting Hollywood, the amusement parks, as well as many other great museums and beaches. Also, L.A. is the city I feel like is home since it is the closest big city to the entertainment industry. When I am far from the L.A. Area for a long period of time, I become homesick.
Fortunately, Las Vegas is something we are looking forward to. I am really looking forward to eating the tasty buffets, as well as seeing the crowds, and playing arcade games at the New York New York. We will be staying at the Palazzo since they have big rooms to accommodate the whole family of "5".
Anyway, stay tuned for the CTN review on my YouTube channel, as well as videos about the Ralph Breaks the Internet "Behind the Scenes" and our Las Vegas vacation. See you all next time!
