Hey guys! This is JonTomYip back on the Florida vacation briefing here. Before I get into the space trip, I would like to share some history of my love for astronomy!
April is Autism Awareness Month. I was diagnosed with autism at age 3 and have had severe gastrointestinal problems ever since. But you all are probably thinking... how does autism have to do with astronomy? Well, a year after the diagnosis, I found my love for astronomy and mathematics by curiosity.. wondering what was beyond us and how many objects were out there. I then right away in kindergarten started memorizing many planetary facts by heart. Until I visited the Disneyland Resort and found my love for the Disney cartoons and movies in 5th grade, math and astronomy were my favorite subjects.
Ah, I think it's time for blast off! 10.... 9.... 8.... 7.... 6.... 5.... 4.... 3.... 2.... 1.... .... Blast off! Here's our Cape Canaveral Adventure today!
I also did some running and biking exercises in the fitness center. I am much more of a sprinter rather than a long distance runner. When I start doing intense exercise, I get very tired and sweaty within the next 2-3 minutes, out of breath very quickly. I don't know why. Could it be my lack of oxygen at birth? Could it be a heart condition that was very minor that it has not been detected yet? I do not know right now. Running has never been my thing. I usually take around 12 minutes to run a mile. Sometimes, on the worst days, that number can worsen to 14-15 minutes. I have never ran a mile faster than 10:35!
