Traveling Back to Happiness

Friday, June 23, 2017

I am really excited today. I returned to my favorite city in the world, Los Angeles, by car today. The journey on the 101 south to the 152 east to the 5 south was a very smooth one, arriving in around 6 hours time frame due to traffic. The traffic was really slow in L.A. County, but unlike my other family members, I have gotten used to it. I was really delighted to see the entertainment industry again.
Driving on the 101 south approaching the East LA Interchange
Driving on the 110 to avoid parts of traffic on the 5.
Ever since watching cartoons made by the Disney Studios in late-elementary school, those cartoon characters have touched my heart so deeply, that I wanted to bring the character to life. My trip to the Disneyland Resort in 2010 also had a huge impact on my decision; Walt Disney and the Disneyland Fireworks Show, "Remember Dreams Come True", have both enlightened my heart about the importance of dreams. Fantasmic! brought joy to my heart about the importance of imagination. I really have the urge everyday to move to Los Angeles to be closer to the studios and the entertainment industry.

After the drive, and later that day, we went to my favorite Chinese restaurant, the Sam Woo BBQ, in Irvine, around 10 minutes away from our place. My favorite dishes there are the fried rice, the rice noodle soups, and the chow fun dishes. They all have a very unique taste, better than most Chinese restaurants. I see Los Angeles as the city with the best Asian food outside of Asia. I can tell you guys, I've been to both San Francisco and New York; the Chinese food in those cities are also one of the best, but not as tasty as L.A.'s Chinese food.
