Merry Christmas to Everyone; Taipei, Taiwan Day 3

Monday, December 25, 2017

Hey there my kiddos! This is Mr. Jonathan Yip on the case, here to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas! Each and every one of you are special in your own creative and distinctive ways. Hope everyone reading this is enjoying their bright life filled with hopeful happiness, joy, and most of all, their passions and their vivid imagination!

Anyway, back to today, I am getting a little more used to the time change. Things have been going better with sleep. Sometimes, it is very hard for me to fall asleep and other times, I fall asleep very easily, very normal for someone like me with ADHD.

Zoinks!!! Double Zoinks!!!! Chinese is still a very hard language for me. Grammar for me, whether it is in English, or Chinese, is very difficult and intense in my head. Taking a grammar test every time is like the general neurotypical people surrounding you as the different person. I wish people would recognize everyone’s differences and praise them for what they have accomplished.

Although I love to learn Chinese, I hated the Chinese School I attended so much that I stopped attending after 10th grade. Paying attention in that quiet, lectury classroom was extremely difficult for me, extremely difficult to get good grades on most exams. The homework load was what exhausted me the most. Too much homework.

Anyway, back to today. I went to the mall I have always wanted to attend, Taipei 101. The live mall was pretty crowded and had one of my favorite restaurants, Din Tai Fung. We ate some more food court food at their food court before walking around more.

To go up to the top, it costs around $20 USD and you are up there for only 30 minutes. May look like a waste of money for some folks. The mall was 5 stories high and had a bunch of shops.

After walking in that mall, we walked to more malls, including another Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, which I really enjoyed because of the liveliness and nice Snoopy stands.

We then went to the Raohe Street Night Market to walk around and eat some food before heading back to our hotel.
