Taipei, Taiwan Day 2

Sunday, December 24, 2017

Sorry for the late post. Today was another day in Taipei. This 16-hour time difference  has just started and is bugging me quite a bit, especially coming out of a red-eye flight from California the previous day.  I explored Ximen, the neighborhood my mom grew up in, and explored the Longshan Temple.

Ximen is in western Taipei. We explored a pretty crowded shopping district, passing by 2 average Chinese movie theatres along the way.

We then visited the Longshan Temple. I felt like one of the odd ones out since I am Christian.

After visitng the temple, we headed in over to the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi store near the Taipei Main Station. I was lucky to find an ice cream that accommodated my allergies.
